This is absolutely and totally a month for tons of activity for you. Starting the 1st and continuing all month long, get into high gear. Pump your tires, throw your old uniform in the laundry and start training. Work on those calves (thighs, stomach, back, etc.). On the 6th and 7th, if you've been feeling like it's time to really adjust your diet, you're probably right. So cut out processed foods and add healthy organic substitutes. Your body needs good healthy food for all those long rides! On the 13th and 14th, if your muscles are really hurting, you might need to slow down. Stretch! On the 19th, don?t let an obstacle like a broken pedal or bad weather throw you off. Come up with an alternative form of action. Hard work pays off on the 23rd, physically and mentally. On the 28th and 29th, you're back in let's-get-physically-fit mode and, on the 30th, end the month with a couple of routine check-ups on your health. It never, ever hurts to be on the safest side! So see the doctor.
