Starting on the 1st and continuing all month long, you need to be proactive about counting. How many calories are you taking in? Burning? How many hours of sleep are you getting each night? How many hours are you working out each day? Once you've counted, start adding, subtracting and dividing. Come up with an ideal and suss out what you need to change to achieve it. The next step is breaking it up into a plan you can follow day to day. By the 4th, you should have a pretty good roadmap to your goal. Around the 8th and 9th, you're ready for a whole new take on things. More sleep, fewer carbs, more running, less driving. Then, on the 14th, your friends will be a fantastic resource. They know how to motivate you better than anyone! By the 19th and 20th, you may be feeling like 'a penny saved' is the right approach to grocery shopping. Just make sure you're not being penny wise but pound foolish! On the 26th, if you starting a self-improvement project, be sure you intend to finish it.
